Under Turkish law, until they are considered an adult (generally at the age of 18, except in the situations mentioned in question 6.2 above), orders relating to the child, such as the right of custody and child maintenance, continue to apply. Custody ends once the child reaches 18 years old. A child who has turned 18 years old cannot receive any child support, except in some special situations.
