Under Turkish Civil Code and Turkish Procedural Code the application can be made within or without the divorce case. Article 178 of Turkish Civil Code is important as there a status of limitations of 1 year which is starting from the finalization of Divorce Decree in Turkish Courts. Thus, the parties shall not be able to ask for a financial and/or any other claims arising from Divorce.
