Is there separate representation for children in your jurisdiction?

In the Turkish Jurisdiction, as a rule, custodial parents have the right to represent their children. Therefore, children are represented by their custodial parents in legal acts and in proceedings aside from cases where the interests of the parents and the children conflict. In these situations, a guardian is appointed by the Court for the representation of the children. For example, in paternity suits, children are represented by guardians as this is in the best interest of the children.
