With the Presidential Decision numbered 2831 which is published in the Official Gazette dated 31 July 2020; it is decided to apply the stoppage rate for renting real estates will be %10 until 31 December 2020. Accordingly, the stoppage will apply in the rate of %10 instead of %20 for the following payments:
- Payments made to the foreign states, foreign public authorities and institutions and international organizations in return of renting real estates which do not have any diplomatic status and belong to these,
- Payments made in return of renting the goods and rights stated under the Article 70 of Income Tax Act,
- Payments made to the Foundations (except fused foundations) and associations in return of renting real estates which belong to these,
With the Presidential Decision numbered 2831, it is decided to apply stoppage rate of %10 instead of %20 for the payments made by the institutions in return of renting real estates which belong to cooperatives until 31 December 2020.
As of 01.01.2021, payments made in cash or by approximation within the scope of above-mentioned payments, the stoppage rate before the Presidential Decision numbered 2813 (%20) will apply.
The decision entered into force on the date of publicization which is 31 July 2020 for applying the payments made in cash or by approximation until 31 December 2020 (including this date).
