In the case of an uncontested divorce, do the parties need to attend court?

Yes, even if both spouses have agreed on the divorce and any other related matters, both of them should attend court for the divorce. The Judge has to hear both of the parties’ approvals of the settlement agreement. If they are represented by their counsels, the counsels should attend the court
