By adding Provisional Article 2 to the Turkish Code of Obligations numbered 6098, which entered into force on 01.07.2012, the enforcement of some articles of the TCO regarding lease agreements has been postponed for eight years in terms of rents of workplaces whose tenants are merchants or private and public legal entities, and the expiry of this period.
